Terms & Conditions

WARWICKSHIRE YOUTH CHOIRS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Warwickshire Youth Choirs provides Choir rehearsal opportunities, performances, workshops and social events for its Youth Choir Members. The age range for Youth Choir membership is 4 - 18 years of age.

PAYMENT FOR CHOIR REHEARSALS

Payments for rehearsals is made through the ClassFor Kids app safely and securely at the beginning of each month for our Warwickshire Youth Choirs membership and termly in advance for our Warwickshire Youth Choirs School Choirs.

Adjustments are automatically made where new members join part way through a month in accordance with the Warwickshire Youth Choirs Calendar.

Warwickshire Youth Choirs cancellation policy requires a two month notice for each membership to help us with staffing, staff ratios and keep our costs low. Notice must be sent to enquiry@warwickshireyouthchoirs.org

FREE TASTER SESSION

Whilst we do not audition the children we offer a free taster session to prospective members.

The free taster session is to ensure that prospective members can see the standards of participation and behaviour we expect and that the choir leader can gauge whether the prospective member can fully participate in all aspects of a youth choir rehearsal.

If you need us to put in place any accommodations for your child, or your child has any medical or additional needs, it is very important that you inform Warwickshire Youth Choirs of this when booking their free taster session so that we can put in place a plan to keep them safe and to support them to fully participate in the activities.

We have a Code of Conduct with one rule for participants: that they treat everybody, including themselves, with respect at all times. We reserve the right to suggest that a child may not be ready to join Warwickshire Youth Choirs at any time prior to a free taster or after a free taster session.

REHEARSALS AND EVENTS

Warwickshire Youth Choir members are supervised during rehearsals and events by the Choral Directors and Warwickshire Youth Choirs Staff - all of whom are DBS checked.

All venues are risk assessed and deemed suitable for children to rehearse and perform.

Warwickshire Youth Choirs do not pay to perform although it may be necessary to make additional charges if transport is required prior to a performance.
