Warwickshire Youth Choirs (WYC) Privacy Statement

Introduction

WYC takes your privacy seriously. This document describes how we will use any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us and how we will protect it.

For the purpose of the applicable legislation, the data controller is WYC and our nominated representative is Beth Thompson, Operations Director,  who can be reached directly at beth@warwickshireyouthchoirs.org

  • Register for or participate in any WYC activity
  • Sign up on our website or on social media to receive newsletter(s) or to volunteer
  • Donate to WYC

In addition, you may be asked for information about your (or your child’s) state of health if you are participating in activities.

We will only use your contact information for the following purposes:

  • To keep you informed about our events, our services, or other news in relation to our activities
  • To monitor and evaluate our services in order to in pursuit of our charitable object

  • To monitor and tailor our services

Once we have your information, we undertake to use our best endeavours to use appropriate procedures and security measures in order to safeguard its confidentiality and to prevent unauthorised access.

Information about your state of health will be kept under lock and key (if in paper form). All personal information in a digital form will be stored in password-protected and encrypted format.

How you can access and correct your personal information and how you can withdraw consent
